| SPRING POLICY UPDATES |
SUB POLICY:
Remember you must work your way down the list (Example: Clarinet #1, #2, #3) when requesting subs. Once you run out of subs on your list, start asking people who play your instrument in PEP BAND. If you request subs out of order, you are subject to reduced stipend. An updated list should have been sent out by e-mail.
REGISTRATION:
Make sure you’re registered for Pep Band class. It is the ONLY way you can get paid for Show Band!
SUBS FROM PEP BAND:
One more reminder that you MAY NOT request a sub unless they are registered for Pep Band class. |

STIPENDS: |
You will recieve you Show Band stipend at the same time as your Marching/Pep Band stipends, at the end of each semester. The Show Band Corrdinator will be charged with keeping track of when subs are used and will deduct funds or add funds to the final stipend. No one should pay cash to their subs! If there is a gig after stipends are disbursed, we will work it out when/if that happens. |
RESPONSIBILITY: |
‘It is YOUR responsibility to…”
- Make sure you attend, or provide a sub to EVERY event
- Plan ahead for dates & times. Subs are hard to find the night before a performance
- Be aware of the attire for each performance (Grey Shirt, Pep Band Uniform or Marching Band Uniform)
- Be responsible for YOUR equipment (esp. tubas and percussion)

UNIFORM & FLIP FOLDER |
The Show Band Coordinator can send people home if they are not adequately prepared for the performance. $75 deduction for being sent home. Uniforms for each gig will be announced along with the gig. You MUST have your CORRECT flip folder at all performances. Some of you play 1st part in the HOT and 2nd part in Show Band. We need those parts covered – so bring your flip! We also reserve the right to ‘dock’ you ½ pay ($37.50) if you do not have the proper uniform and/or flip folder. |
