2008 Auditions
The University of South Florida Athletic Bands are pleased to introduce its newest performing opportunity - BRAHMA - an indoor marching percussion ensemble that combines the excitement of marching percussion with the pageantry of indoor
colorguard.

Brahma will feature a full drumline and front ensemble— with the following open positions: 7 snares, 4 tenors, 5 basses, 4 cymbals, 2 marimbas, 2 vibraphones, 1 xylophone/glockenspiel, 1 synthesizer, 1 electric guitar, 1 bass guitar, 1 drumset player, and 1 rack percussionist. This ensemble is open to anyone interested in taking part in a truly once-in-a-lifetime musical experience between the ages of 16 and 23.

Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and tennis shoes to the audition (we will be outside). Be sure to bring any sticks or
mallets you may need, a 3-ring binder for music, and your audition fee. Instruments and music will be provided. Guitar and bass players should bring their own rig for the audition. This audition will be in clinic format, so feel free to attend for
educational purposes only without a commitment to participate in the ensemble. You may audition on more than 1 instrument. Audition materials will be given out at the audition. It may be helpful to prepare a short excerpt or solo for your instrument, but this is not required. Brahma from USF will participate in the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) as well as Winter Guard International (WGI).
